The young saxophone quartet BL!NDMAN [4×4] sax was founded in august 2005 as a part of the BL!NDMAN [4×4] project. The next 3 years they performed, coached by BL!NDMAN, on festivals such as De Donderdagen, Transit Festival, Brxl Bravo, Oorsmeer (Lille, Angers) and played in Concertgebouw Brugge, het Depot, Bozar and Ancienne Belgique.

This summer the 4 saxophone players, together with a percussionist, continue their way under the new name [sic].
[sic] will still perform their existing programs Steamboat Bill Jr. and Single Body Noise, but they’ll also explore new musical domains, experimenting with live electronics and improvisation. The upcoming project Pidgin is completely in line with this idea. The première of this collaboration with the electric guitar quartet Zwerm, Stefan Prins and Richard Barrett will be on the Happy New Ears festival in Kortrijk, September 19th, 2008.
